DESCRIPTION:Would you like to be part of the Photography of Michigan Show at the Parkview Hills Clubhouse Library? Drop off entry and fill out entry form at the clubhouse front desk between June 5-9. Hours are 8am-noon and 1-5pm\, Monday-Friday. \n \nThe Photography of Michigan Show will display submitted photos in the Clubhouse from June 12-23. Please pick up your entry between June 26-28. Hours are 8am-noon and 1-5pm\, Monday-Friday. \n  \n\nAll ages welcome \nParkview Hills residents and family members may enter\nParkview Hills resident must fill out entry form for themselves and/or family member\n\n  \n\nPicture must be taken in Michigan; please note where it was taken.\nOne photo entry per person.\nPhoto must be 4” x 6” or larger.\nPhoto must be framed\, mounted\, or in a form that is easily displayed.\nIf you can’t get a print\, please send a digital copy to info@parkviewclubhouse.com  and we will print a 4” x 6” copy for you. You may choose a provided frame to display your picture in.  \nAll will win a prize! The Grand Prize will be drawn from all entries.

DESCRIPTION:  \nThe PH Clubhouse Library will have a puzzle swap on Saturday\, May 20\, from noon to 3pm. All are welcome to attend. \nBring puzzles to swap for something new to you. Please don’t bring any puzzles with missing pieces. Sizes from 24 pieces to 3000 pieces are needed. \nIf you can’t attend the swap but have puzzles you would like to get rid of\, please drop off at the clubhouse Monday\, May 15 through Friday\, May 19. \nWe will have some new puzzles for the kids to have and even those without puzzles to swap may take one to do. \nPlease bring friends and relatives along with your puzzles to swap. You do have to take your friends and relatives back with you—no swapping them! \nThere will be a raffle in the library to win sorting trays\, new puzzles\, and puzzle spatulas! You only have to guess how many puzzle pieces are in the candy jar! Everyone will leave with a prize when you deposit your raffle ticket. Leave your first name\, contact number\, and your guess on your raffle ticket and you will be notified on Sunday\, May 21\, if you win! Prizes will be picked up at the clubhouse after that. \nDid you know? The first jigsaw puzzle was created around 1760 by a London cartographer and engraver named John Spilsbury! \n  \nThis is part of the 2023 Parkview Hills Clubhouse Library Art Events. DESCRIPTION:Artist Reception Friday\, October 14 from 5-8pm at the Parkview Hills clubhouse \nParkview Hills Second Annual Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Kirk Newman Art School with Students of Kenneth Freed\, MFA \n \nStudent artists\, currently studying under the tutelage of Kenneth Freed\, MFA\, at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts\, are holding their second art exhibit from October 1 to October 31\, 2022 at Parkview Hills Clubhouse. \n \nEach of the artists have on display two to three pieces of their work for the entire month. Most of the students have been painting with Freed for many years. Among those are a few who also study privately with Freed. A copy of the Ken Freed’s and student’s biographies is available at the clubhouse. \n \nPlease join the artists at a reception on Friday\, October 14 from 5-8pm at the Parkview Hills clubhouse. \n \nSeveral paintings are available for purchase. Each artist is responsible for their own sale agreement. The artist contact list is available through the front desk.
