SUMMARY:NASC Volunteer Opportunity
DESCRIPTION:Join members of the Natural Areas Stewardship Committee and other volunteers from 12:30-3 pm in removing invasive Honeysuckle along the trail in our woods. We will meet at the Clubhouse at 12:30 pm for a brief tutorial on Honeysuckle removal and to distribute gloves and tools\, and then head out for work until 3 pm. This is important work in restoring the native plants and wildflowers that used to populate our woods – and can again! The work is not strenuous\, there are several jobs to fit different ability levels\, and it makes a real difference in our natural environment.
